Personal biography

I strive to offer a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where you can bring your full self and feel safe to explore and process difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to ensure you feel seen, heard, and accepted for who you are.

Grounded in a client-centred approach, I view you as the expert in your own life. I see my role as a supportive partner working alongside you to empower healing, growth, and meaningful change. I draw on an integrative framework that includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based practices. Together, we shape our work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and support your unique goals and needs.

I am currently completing my Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School. Prior to returning to school, I completed a PhD in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology and spent almost 20 years as a consultant working with various organizations. My work deepened my passion for understanding people and supporting their well-being. This foundation, combined with the focus the pandemic brought to the importance of mental health, ultimately inspired my career transition into psychotherapy.

I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). At Therapy Villa, I provide services under the supervision of Ms. Niyati Gandhi, M.A., C.Psych.
