Here’s how life can begin to shift with the support of trauma therapy.
Triggered by a traumatic event, PTSD may involve flashbacks, avoidance, sleep issues, and a persistent sense of fear or danger, even in safe situations.
Often linked to repeated or long-term trauma; especially in childhood. C-PTSD includes emotional dysregulation, relationship struggles, and a fragile sense of self.
When early needs weren’t met; emotionally or physically, it can impact how you form relationships, set boundaries, and feel about yourself as an adult.
This includes betrayal, manipulation, or abuse by someone close. Therapy helps restore your sense of trust, agency, and emotional safety.
Adjustment Disorder is a stress-related condition that arises after you experience a significant life change - such as a move, breakup, job loss, or health diagnosis. You might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed in ways that don’t match the “size” of the event. Therapy supports you in processing these changes and regaining emotional stability (or regulating your emotions).
When your grief doesn’t ease with time and remains intense, persistent, and disruptive, it may be PGD. You may feel stuck in longing, guilt, or disbelief for months or even years after the loss of a loved one. Therapy helps you honor your grief while gently finding your way forward.
Personalized therapy begins with understanding your unique experiences and goals. Through tailored sessions, we use techniques to address your challenges, foster growth.
The process begins with an in-depth conversation to understand your personal history, challenging experiences, relationships and goals. This helps us create a clear roadmap for your therapy journey.
Every person’s healing looks different. We draw from most effective therapies such as CBT, DBT, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and EMDR; choosing techniques that best match your needs and comfort level.
Therapy is a partnership. In each session, we work together at a pace that feels right, helping you process your emotions, build insight, practice new skills, and create meaningful changes in your daily life.
If it overwhelmed you, changed how you see yourself or the world, or still affects you today, then it matters. Trauma isn’t defined by how “big” the event seems to the world. It’s defined by how it impacted you. If you’re still unsure, schedule a consultation with our experienced team before you take a step in any direction
You may not. And, that’s completely okay. Trauma memories can be fragmented, fuzzy, or even blocked out. Therapy can still help you work on the impact it’s having on your life - whether emotionally, physically, or relationally - even without the full narrative.
Not at all. No one but you decides what warrants reaching out. Trauma can come from moments that felt overwhelming, unsafe, or unsupported… no matter how “big” or “small” they may seem. If the event or action impacted how you think, feel, or function, it matters. And we are here to help you process and overcome its effects.
