I support individuals with a range of concerns and challenges including anxiety and stress and panic, depression, self-esteem challenges, perfectionism, life transitions, obsessive thoughts, and compulsions.
My approach to therapy is integrative, as I combine therapeutic techniques and interventions from a range of modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and shape my approach around your specific needs and goals.
At Therapy Villa, I am a clinical therapist providing services under the supervision of Ms. Niyati Gandhi, M.A., C.Psych. I am currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology degree at Adler Graduate Professional School. Over the past two years, I have worked at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) assessing clients with a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and borderline personality disorder. I have volunteered as a crisis responder with Kids Help Phone as well, providing support to individuals experiencing psychological distress. With a strong background in psychology research, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in psychology research at the University of Toronto, and worked as a research assistant in various psychology laboratories.
In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks, trying new cafes and restaurants, and spending time with my family and friends. Some of my main interests include fashion, music, and dance.
